Shots fired at the Tancos military base Shots near the commander's house.



An alert sounded last night at the Tancos Base, with several shots fired near the military perimeter.
The shots were heard at 9:30 p.m., near the house of the commander of Regiment No. 1 and at various places around the unit.
Several men were seen in the bush of the surrounding area. (THE MILITARY PIGS STEALING THE GUNS)
Patrols and rounds were reinforced to prevent further weapons robbery and safeguarding the remaining material. On Sunday night a special military team had been set up to try to locate and identify the perpetrators.
This attack occurred a few days after Tancos' base was assaulted.
On the night of June 27 to 28, explosives and various military weapons were stolen.
The situation led to the exoneration of five commanders from various base units.
