Two men armed with knives made five hostages this morning in a church in the French commune of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray. Hijackers were shot dead by police, one of the hostages died. And there's a seriously injured man. Hollande is already in place

Five people were taken hostage Tuesday morning inside a church in the French commune of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray in the Normandy region. At least one hostage was killed, while the two hijackers were shot dead by the French police intervention unit, a spokesman for the French Interior Ministry said.

Local media and police say the deadly victim was an 84-year-old priest.
